Herb Butter

Take the butter out of the fridge in time so it becomes soft. Wash the herbs, pat dry and finely chop the parsley, basil and chives. Peel the garlic and finely mince it.

Beat the soft butter with salt in a bowl until fluffy.

Stir the mustard, the chopped herbs and the minced garlic into the butter and mix thoroughly.

Stir in a splash of lemon juice and season with freshly ground pepper and, if needed, a little more salt.

Shape the herb butter into a roll in cling film or put it into a small bowl as desired and chill briefly so it firms up.
