Chocolate Kisses

Finely grate the dark chocolate.

Combine the grated chocolate with flour, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, salt, anise and ground almonds in a bowl and mix well.

Cut the cold butter into cubes and quickly knead it in until a smooth dough forms.

Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 160 °C fan (180 °C conventional) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Shape walnut-sized balls from the dough and place them on the sheet with some space between them.

Bake the kisses for about 15 minutes.

Mix the remaining vanilla sugar with 2 tbsp cocoa powder, roll the cookies in the mixture immediately after baking and then let them cool completely.
