Cherry Ice Cream

Wash and pit the cherries.

Juice the lemon.

Place the cherries, cream, a small pinch of salt, cherry yogurt, milk, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla sugar in a bowl and puree finely with an immersion blender.

Freeze the cherry mixture in the ice cream maker until it is creamy and noticeably thickened.

Without an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and let it set in the freezer.

Once the ice cream is firm enough, decorate as desired and serve.
