Caramel Cookies

Preheat oven to 180 °C fan (conventional oven: 200 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Dice the Mars bar. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt well. Coarsely chop the peanuts and weigh out 100 g of them.

Cream the softened butter with the brown sugar, then fully beat in the egg.

Add the flour mixture, 100 g chopped peanuts and the Mars pieces to the butter mixture and knead into a dough.

Form hazelnut-sized balls from the dough, flatten them slightly, place them on the sheet and sprinkle with the remaining chopped peanuts.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown.

Let the cookies sit on the sheet briefly, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
