Chocolate Squares

Preheat the oven to 150°C fan (or 175°C conventional).

In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and chocolate shavings well.

In a second bowl, beat the egg, oil, natural yogurt and sugar until frothy.

Fold the flour–cocoa mixture into the yogurt mixture and stir only until no dry flour remains.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper, spread the batter onto it and smooth the surface.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes.

Remove the tray and let the cake cool completely.

Cut into about 4 × 4 cm squares and decorate with chocolate glaze if desired.
