Strawberry Ice Cream

Wash, hull and cut the strawberries into pieces. Squeeze the lemon.

Place the strawberries with milk, cream, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla sugar in a bowl and puree finely with an immersion blender.

If you are not using an ice cream maker, whip the cream to stiff peaks and gently fold it into the pureed strawberry mixture at the end.

Freeze the strawberry mixture in the ice cream maker (1 l capacity, approx. 600 g of liquid) or pour it into a suitable container and put it in the freezer until it sets.

As soon as the ice cream is firm enough, decorate as desired and serve.
