Fruchtzwerg Chocolate Cake

For easier release, you can dust the pan with a little flour or line it with baking paper.

If you prefer no alcohol, replace the egg liqueur with an extra Fruchtzwerg.

If the batter seems very stiff, continue mixing briefly until everything is well combined; the Fruchtzwerg pieces usually make it more pliable after a short time.

Smooth the surface with a spoon so the cake rises evenly.

Do a skewer test: if almost no batter sticks to the wooden skewer, the cake is done.

If it sticks, run a thin knife around the edge and wait another 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
