Chestnut Ice Cream

Beat the egg and sugar in a bowl for several minutes until pale and fluffy.

Add the chestnut purée, cream, a pinch of salt and whole milk to the egg-and-sugar mixture and stir until smooth.

Pour the chestnut mixture into the ice cream maker and freeze until it reaches a creamy, firm consistency.

Without an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and let it harden in the freezer.

Once the ice cream is firm enough, decorate as desired and serve.
