Fly Agaric Eggs

Hard-boil the eggs in boiling water, then cool them under cold running water.

Peel the eggs and trim a small piece off the flat side so they can stand securely.

Wash the tomatoes, cut a 'lid' off each one and hollow out the tomato slightly.

Place the tomato lid on the egg as a 'hat' and secure it with a toothpick.

Squeeze small dots of mayonnaise onto the tomato lids to create the characteristic fly-agaric look.

Chill until ready to serve.
