Cream Punch with Cinnamon

Place the rum and rock sugar in a saucepan and add the cinnamon stick.

Gently heat everything over medium heat (do not boil), stirring until the rock sugar has completely dissolved.

Meanwhile, whip the cream until it is just slightly creamy and still pourable (not stiff).

Remove the saucepan from the heat and take out the cinnamon stick.

Quickly but gently stir the cream into the hot rum until everything is evenly creamy.

Fill the cream punch into mugs and sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
