Christmas Cookie Balls

Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the soft butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl until fluffy.

Gradually stir in the flour, then work in the almonds and coconut flakes until a shapeable dough forms.

With slightly moistened hands, form small balls from the dough and place them on the baking sheet with some space between them.

Bake the Christmas balls for about 20 minutes, until they are lightly golden.

Take the cookies out of the oven and dust them with powdered sugar while still hot.
