Chestnut Pudding

Whisk the vanilla pudding powder and sugar into a little cold milk until smooth and no lumps are visible.

Bring the remaining milk to a boil in a saucepan.

Stir the sweetened chestnut purée into the boiling milk until a homogeneous mixture forms.

Add the prepared pudding mixture to the chestnut-milk while stirring and bring to the boil or simmer briefly according to the packet instructions, until the pudding thickens.

Pour the hot pudding into moulds or dessert glasses.

Let the chestnut pudding cool and then chill it in the refrigerator until set.

Decorate and serve as desired.
