Buttermilk Yeast Rolls

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix flour, salt, sugar and dry yeast.

Gradually add the lukewarm buttermilk and knead everything into a smooth, elastic dough.

Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes, until it has visibly risen.

Add the chocolate chips to the dough and briefly knead them in until evenly distributed.

Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces, shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the rolls with milk, cover and let them rise for another about 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven in time to 160°C (fan).

Bake the rolls at 160°C (fan) for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove the rolls from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
