Brandy Sorbet

Squeeze the lemons and collect the juice.

Stir the water and sugar in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved as much as possible.

Add the lemon juice and brandy to the sugar-water mixture and stir thoroughly.

Without an ice cream maker: Pour the mixture into a metal bowl, cover with aluminum foil and freeze for about 4 hours, stirring vigorously several times in between.

With an ice cream maker: Freeze the mixture in the ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions until the sorbet is creamy.
