Amaretti Ice Cream

In a bowl, thoroughly whisk milk, cream, sugar, almond extract and a small pinch of salt until the sugar is well dissolved.

Pour the ice mixture into the ice cream maker (approx. 1 L capacity, about 600 g of liquid) and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Coarsely crumble the amaretti and only add them to the ice mixture once the ice cream has started to thicken.

Fill the finished amaretti ice cream into dessert glasses.

Decorate with small amarettini and serve immediately.

Without an ice cream maker: Whip the cream until stiff, mix the remaining ingredients until smooth and finally fold in the whipped cream together with the coarsely crumbled amaretti.
