Hot Grandma

Rinse the glasses briefly with hot water first; they are less likely to crack when filled with hot milk.

When small bubbles form at the edges and light steam rises, the milk is hot enough.

Pour slowly and place the glasses on a wooden board to protect them from thermal shock.
