Cookie Shake

Break the chocolate butter cookies into fine crumbs using your fingers.

Mix the cookie crumbs with the cream and sugar well in a bowl.

Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes to soften.

Heat the milk in a saucepan but do not bring it to a boil.

Stir the softened cookie mixture into the warm milk and blend everything thoroughly with an immersion blender.

Pour into cups or glasses and sprinkle with gingerbread spice.
