Cherry Kiss

For an extra fresh result, chill the glass briefly in the freezer beforehand.

Shake for about 10–15 seconds so the drink gets cold without becoming overly diluted.

Using a fine bar strainer or kitchen sieve will reliably hold back small ice shards.

Pour the sparkling wine slowly down the side of the glass to retain more carbonation in the drink.

Let the cherry drain briefly before rolling so the sugar adheres nicely.
